On Tuesday Mercy hosted Senior nights for all four of our winter athletic programs. These days are bittersweet as they are a time for great celebration but it also marks the final time some of our athletes will suit up in a Mercy uniform. Our fans braved the windy conditions at Skyline to support our soccer team and their families. Turns out all of the friendly faces were just what Mercy needed to get the offense going. Mercy seniors all scored much to the delight of their families. I left the soccer field and headed straight for CSM to set up for Basketball, Cheer, and Dance programs. Every celebration is a little different as every program plays at a different site. Our seniors and their families made their way across the court at College of San Mateo to the cheers from our fans is the snapshot I hold on to. As the basketball game got started I took a moment to glance at the stands, packed with our faculty, family, friends, and our spirit squads around. I am proud to be in this community that supports our student athletes.
