On Wednesday Mercy traveled south to Notre Dame San Jose for another WBAL match up. Storm systems moved through that day which made for muddy conditions at PAL Stadium. The team perservered and got out to an early lead. Viviana Delucchi '25 and Clare O'Brien '25 scored 5 goals between them. Eloise Yuk '26 had 8 saves in goal. Mercy went on to win 18-6. On Friday Mercy took to the turf in an highly anticipated rematch with Sacred Heart Cathedral. The game was back and forth with teams exchanging goals. Mercy had a slight lead of 7-5 at halftime. As the clock ticked down on regulation we finished 9-9 tie. The first overtime period was scoreless. As the teams switched ends Mercy began to turn on the offense. Katie Callagy '23 already had 6 goals on the afternoon but the most important one came in overtime leading Mercy to victory. The team ran out in cheers to celebrate the 10-9 overtime victory.
