On Tuesday night Mercy hosted the first ever Black out game at Notre Dame Belmont with a CCS Semifinal birth on the line. The team donned black Mercy athletics shirts in warm ups and the first 150 fans in attendance also wore the same shirt. Friends, families, and fans came out to support and packed the stands. The energy was intense and the team came out strong in the first set comfortably winning 25-17. In the second set Notre Dame came out firing and took a lead late in the set. Mercy stormed back to go up 2 sets to 0. In the third set they kept their foot on the pedal and completed the sweep. Next up Mercy takes on Carmel High School Thursday 11/3 at Carmel.
