On Thursday Mercy hosted Riordan in the second match of the week. The team got out to an early start against the crusaders with Audrey O'Brien '25 finishing first not dropping a game. Sachi Slyer '24 and Lindsey Barrera '24 were not far behind only dropping one game. The team went 6-1 on the afternoon. On Friday Mercy headed to San Francisco to take on George Washington High School. In a foggy afternoon they came out swinging against the Eagles. Chloe Cox '24 and Hayden Damsgaard-Hughes '24 started strong getting the first point for the Bears. They were follwed quickly by Amarech Mendez '24 and Leah Shelley '27. Mailen Chiramberro '25 earned her first victory of the season at 4 singles. The team finished 3-0 on the week.
