Last Thursday Mercy swim participated in the second WBAL Jamboree of the season at Harker. The team started strong with the first event of the 200 Medaly Relay. Gwen Simpson '26, Allison Yee '24, Cadence Wong '25 and Zoe Gainer '26 finished 2nd in the event with a time of 2:11. 40. In the 100 Free Allison Yee '24 finished in 4th place with a time of 1:06:67 and Gwen Simpson '26 finished 5th with at 1:07:38. Allison Yee '24 placed 8th in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:29:04. The 200 Free Relay Team of Kylie Thomas '26, Clare Walsh '26, Maribella Pham '26, and Chloe Fung '25 with a time of 2:27:28. The 500 Free saw a battle between two Mercy swimmers. Cadence Wong '25 finished with a time of 6:09:17 and Zoe Gainer '26 finished right behind with a time of 6:57:09 breaking the under 7 minute mark for the first time.
