Mercy opened the CCS Tournament hosting Pacific Grove in the Quarterfinal round. The team won in straight sets 25-13, 25-16, and 15-19. Ava Cacao '25 had 18 kills, Juliana Mufarreh '24 added 11 kills while Mia Ferdinand '25 2 blocks and 4 aces. On Thursday the team traveled to Harbor High School for the CCS Semifinals. Harbor got out to a strong start taking the first two sets 25-20 and 25-22. Mercy stormed back in the third set winning 25-21. In the fourth set Harbor edged out the bears 27-25. Next up for the Bears will be the CIF Tournament.
